DIY Decoupage bag

A few weeks ago I discovered this idea here and needed to try it out for myself. First thing was first, go to goodwill to find a bag!

Thrift a bag or recycle one of your own! Its best not to spend too much money on your first try.


Supplies:


1 bag
a pair of sharp scissors 
fabric ( I used a shirt that I never wore)
mod podge 
craft paint


Steps:


1. Paint the area of the bag you'd like to decorate with your preferred color of craft paint. It may need 2-3 coats.


2. While the paint is drying, carefully cut out the fabric.


3. Before gluing anything down make sure that the design is mapped out


4.  Paint a layer of mod podge onto the bag where you want the fabric, then glaze the mod podge on top of the fabric to seal it down, this may also need 2-3 coats.
